National LambdaRail (NLR) is a major initiative of U.S. research universities and private sector technology companies to provide a national scale infrastructure for research and experimentation in networking technologies and applications. NLR was born from Internet2 and will soon combine with it again. OTC works to enact NLR objectives on the local campus network.
The entire FSU community enjoys the network benefits of using the FLR and NLR infrastructure. Some researchers require FLR and NLR capabilities to accomplish their goals.
