DESCRIPTION

 

An Access Control & Security System is any mechanism that controls access into or out of an area, i.e. card swipe readers.

On-line integrated security access control:

  • Eliminates traditional locks and keys
  • Restricts access to controlled areas

Swipe your card with the magnetic stripe facing away from the keypad as illustrated:

All residence halls are equipped with card access at main entry points.
Resident students should report any problems with access to their residence halls to the University Housing Office.
